Proper Breathing for Mind Body and Soul.

“You can live for weeks without food and days with no water. But if you were under water with no air when would you start to panic? At the thirty second mark? a minute? You need to breathe in order to exist.”

Focused breathing is important.

You inhale positive energy and you exhale negative which is why when you’re stressed you should focus on your breathing.

So, when exercising you have to synchronize your breathing to your movements. If you focus on breathing you’ll release the physical tension you’re experiencing.



Flexibility

Flexibility is the fountain of youth. By stretching, one finds the tension in their body and breathing then releases that tension. This method opens the channels of energy throughout the body so they flow efficiently, helping to preserve it. With regular release of mental, emotional, and physical stress from the muscles and joints the body will grow old gracefully.

Most of us spend our entire day inside our heads. Yoga provides an opportunity to focus on breath—instantly connecting the mind to the body. In this workout the asanas test your ability to deal with stress. Through Karey’s coaching you’ll learn skills that will help to cope and manage mental and emotional stress.

Energy Treatments

Karey’s unique energy treatments combine practices from three cultures. Instinctively, she includes her native traditions by using feathers and energies from the four corners. In 2003, Karey studied Level One Reiki at the Toronto Hypnotherapy Institute, and in 2010, she spent time with a third generation Aztecan healer in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Over the past eight years she’s helped clients with pre and post-surgery recovery, cancer, and eating disorders. She has also helped people cope and live with mental and spiritual disorders (such as depression, chronic guilt, bi-poplar disorder) Treatments are performed after consultation and are roughly 60-75 minutes.
