When I first met Karey, I was overwhelmed by all the instruction that was coming my way. Constantly being reminded to “breathe, push, run, crunch, hold”, all the while “keeping your cool” and “not making faces” because “ who likes double chins.” But then I realized this instruction came from years of experience, not only from teaching others but actually going through the sets herself. Karey has not only taught me how to be physically stronger but she was able to bring life lessons into my workouts. Training the “Karey Spady Way” has allowed me to bring the same approach to challenges in my life that I would when faced with a mean training circuit – head on!!
